Who We Are The Family Life Center is a private not-for-profit social service organization providing no-cost services to families experiencing Domestic Violence and victims of Sexual Assault. We are committed to meeting the needs of the community and recognizing the specific challenges faced by those in rural areas of Flagler County.

Police Chief Our Mission Statement The mission of the Family Life Center/Emergency Shelter in Flagler County, Florida is to stem the perpetration of Domestic/ Sexual Violence throughout the county through proactive programs that provide protection, intervention, education and prevention.
The Family Life Center will provide Emergency Shelter and essential support services for women and children who are victims of Domestic/ Sexual Violence, as well as engage the Flagler County community in Outreach Programs that focus on awareness of, and deterrents to, Domestic/ Sexual Violence.
Essential Support Services Include:
Provision of Food, Clothing, Personal Care Items and Transportation
24- Hour Crisis Counseling- Individual and Group
Assistance in Acquiring Emergency and Non-Emergency Medical Care
Assistance in Acquiring Legal Aid and Representation - Court Advocacy
Referral to Agencies and Organizations for Financial Assistance
Referral to Agencies that Provide Housing Assistance
Referral for Employment Assistance
Assistance in Acquiring Day Care
Group Counseling - In House and Outside of Agency
Assistance in Accessing Private Counseling
Life Skills Training (Parenting Classes, Budgeting, Assistance with GED Preparation and Other Employment Enhancement Skills, Goal Planning)
Operating with the premise "Peace Begins at Home," the Family Life Center strives to create an environment of safe and harmonious co-existence among families residing within its facility and within communities throughout Flagler County. We provide an empowerment based model of help that is self-directed by the survivor.
