The Family Life Center is committed to sound corporate principles in all aspects of our non-profit business. Our commitment starts with maintaining a strong community connection, which invests its resources wisely and focuses on operational excellence. The Family Life Center’s business model allows us to meet the needs of an ever-increasing program participant base with cost-effective services. Our success, in turn, allows us to generate safety in the communities in which we operate. As we build new programs and expand our existing programs throughout the community, we bring opportunities for the victims – men, women and children we serve - offering them the promise of support, advocacy and an enhanced standard of living, which includes safety in their homes.
Our commitment extends to our shareholders to whom we deliver strong returns. Our shareholders can take pride in an organization that identifies integrity as one of its core values. At FLC, we achieve our strategic and financial goals while adhering to the highest ethical standards. This means that our employees deal fairly with our program participants, our vendors and each other. It also means that we implement rigorous processes and controls to ensure the accuracy of our financial reporting. While this is the correct thing to do, we also believe it allows our shareholders and the investment community to fully appreciate the significance of our success as we meet or exceed the objectives we set for ourselves. This year’s annual report will reflect all of our accomplishments.
Finally, our commitment embraces the people who live in the communities where we do business. We help strengthen those communities by providing life-saving services. We also work to improve the living conditions that prevail in these communities by working with our fellow members of the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce, Flagler’s Business Women, Political Affiliations, Flagler County School Board, Local Realtors, Kiwanis Clubs and so much more…
We are excited about the future and what it holds for our agency. As FLC’s demand for services grows, so does our opportunity to have an even greater impact on the community and world around us. We invite you to tour our emergency shelter, explore our website, and read more about the steps we’ve already taken to make good on that opportunity. We thank you for your continued support, as we work toward making our community a safe place for all too live, work and play.
Sincerely,
Diana Christen
