What is the Emergency Shelter?

The Emergency Shelter is a safe-house for survivors of Domestic/ Sexual Violence.  Our 32 bed facility is a comfortable home that houses adult women and their children during crisis situations.  During their stay, we encourage residents to make the Emergency Shelter their home, so we provide the following at no-cost for both adults and children:

•  Meals

•  Showers                                                                                                     

•  Laundry appliances/ detergent

•  Clothing/ shoes

• Children's play room/ play ground

• Access to TV/ Computer/ Phone

• Hygiene products & More 

What services does the Emergency Shelter Provide?

During their stay, residents of the Emergency Shelter will have access to the free following services for both adults and children:

• Support Groups

• Individual Crisis Counseling

• Case Management

• Information/ Referrals

• Court Advocacy

• Safety Planning & More
